Working definition of digital humanities.
DH is both a space and process to bridge historical context and modern day understanding by allowing people to contribute both personal and concrete content to an interested audience. DH encourages both use and contribution to a specific field of study. Generally, projects do not require a rigid setup but many utilize images, stories, and documents to further the users understanding of the material. Typically, setup/structure within a DH project is easy to navigate and basic in format and structure to allow and encourage greater participation by scholars and general audience.
